Who Created My Darla Clementine?
Well, friends, that would be me! I’m Melissa Coleman, a licensed esthetician, incurable creative, tandem nurser, bonafide health nut, avid thrifter/vintage lover, and full-time Mama Bear to Clementine and Darla. I’m on a mission to see my family thrive (and to love doing it!), and am bringing along anyone who will join us on this fantastic journey! (P.S. Not following us yet? Start now!)
Meet the Rest of My Crew
We call ourselves the Whistling Colemans, even though only 1/4 of our family can actually whistle (but in case you didn’t know, creating a fake band name will up your happiness level in life by about a gazillion notches!). Anyway, we are a very happy, creative, and crunchy bunch! We live in Los Angeles and love city life, but have dreams of one day owning a camper van and off-the-grid yurt and homestead in a more rural setting. In all of our ventures we strive to be frugal and wise, make what we can on our own, upcycle as much as possible, and to apply creativity and resourcefulness toward accomplishing our goals.
